EasyFindADate.com: Great Idea, but Poorly Executed

Recently came across EasyFindADate.com. When I arrived at the site, I thought, "OK, a site that let's me compare the most popular online dating sites -- both free and paid sites -- on the Internet. Great idea!" But then I started poking around and found that the designers made a huge mistake. When I clicked one of the [Click Here to Compare] buttons that I found on the site's homepage, I was shocked to find that the designer(s) programmed the page so that several new windows will pop open on your computer, all at once! Ugly. Not only was I frustrated waiting for all the windows to load -- so that I could close them -- but my system never recovered from the memory drain, and I was forced to reboot (I was using my Windows 2000 machine.) I hate that! I thought only porn sites use such annoying tactics. Yikes! Gotta' respect your visitors! That's like webmaster 101 in my opinion. A rookie mistake.

I assumed a bunch of idiot porn webmasters put the site together, so after visiting EasyFindADate.com I ran a virus scan, then scanned for spyware using the utility that comes with the latest Yahoo! Toolbar.

The site is 100% free (supported by Google ads and online dating affiliate links) so there's not much harm in trying it out. Just be prepared for A LOT of new windows opening up on your computer at once. If you have at least 2 gigabytes of RAM installed on your computer, then you may be OK. Any less and you may need to reboot as I did.

I for one will not be stopping by EasyFindADate.com again, as I can't stand being treated like a sucker by a website I just met. Yup.
